Registration

PawCalc is distributed as shareware. This means you can try it for free before you decide to pay. While you try PawCalc for free, some feature are locked. Once you register your copy of PawCalc, we will email you a code to unlock all the locked features.

When you register you will receive a registration code. Select 'Help' and 'Register...' in the PawCalc menus. You will be asked for five "lines" from the registration code; these will be separated by double-colons.

For example, if you registration code is "abc::def::ghi::jkl::mno", line 1 would be "abc", line 2 "def", line 3 "ghi", line 4 "jkl", and line 5 "mno".

Enter the registration code at the prompt. Double-check that you have entered the correct code -- case does matter. Once you are done, press the 'Okay' button. PawCalc will tell you if you entered the correct code. That's it!

Please make sure you have the newest version of PawCalc. The newest version will be available on the PawEng web page. Registered users will receive an email when new versions are released.

Registration Fees

There are two types of registration: one for regular use and one for private, non-commercial use.

Currently, the registration fee is $20 USD for a regular registration, and $12 USD for a private, non-commercial registration. Be sure to check the current fees on the PawEng web page.

How to Register

The registration process is handled by ShareIt! -- a large and respectable shareware website. We will transfer you to their secure website, where you can finish the registration process.

You start the registration process by clicking on the relevant link below. This will pop up a new window allowing you to keep this window open for reference. If you are not online, be sure to connect now.

The fees are quoted in US dollars, but you can also pay in Euro using the current rate of exchange.

There are five easy steps in the registration process corresponding to five screens:

  1. Enter your name, address, and your choice of payment method.
      You can pay by credit card, Switch/Solo card (UK), Bank / wire transfer (US, Germany, France, UK), check (US), or cash (US).
  2. Enter your credit card or Switch/Solo card information.
      We accept Visa, Mastercard / Eurocard, American Express, and Diners Club.
      If you chose another payment method, follow the instructions on the screen.
  3. Review your data before submitting your order.
      Click on "submit order" when you are sure everything is fine; or click on "edit" to modify your data. Clicking on "submit order" will charge your credit card; please click only once.
  4. "Please wait while processing."
      Just wait. You will automatically be taken to the next screen.
      If you do not see any response after five minutes, send us an email at info@paweng.com and we will look into it. Include in your email your name, address (physical and email), and what program you were trying to register.
  5. You are done.
      If you chose credit card payment, you should now see the registration code on your screen and a confirmation email (including the registration code) has been sent to you. Otherwise you will receive your registration code via email when we have received your payment.
